A model is only useful if it sits in a workflow with data, permissions, a fallback and someone who owns the failures. We connect APIs such as OpenAI into products and internal tools, build the data layer they need, and put evaluation and monitoring around the result.
Same standard as any other production service: it has to be deployable, observable and cheap enough to keep running.
Most organisations do not have an AI problem. They have a workflow problem they hope a model will fix. We bound the use case, integrate it into tools people already use, and instrument the result so exceptions show up.
